Excursions were made to the Capital Towers where we enjoyed the overview of the city of Cordoba and its surroundings. Cities like Alta Gracia were visited and especially El Tajamar Lake and the Jesuit church and Estancia which are mentioned on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The artificial lake was created by Jesuits to create a the water autonomy for the flour and to create energy necessary to works and to vegetable cultivation. There were also walks in the mountain village Villa General Belgrano located in the valley of Calamuchita in the Province of Córdoba in central Argentina. The settlement is named after Manuel Belgrano, the Argentine independence hero and designer of the Argentine flag.
