7th Anniversary WH Region celebrated

The virtual Regional Summit meeting on the 7th Anniversary of the Western Hemisphere (WH) Region on September 5, 2023 was a great success. More than 35 members from 14 countries were online and some WH members got the possibility to tell a short positive anecdote why they joined the Adult Scout organization.

Vanessa Hoogenbergen, liaison for WH Region from World Committee as well as Leny Doelman, Central Branch Coordinator were present and congratulated the region and wished them success with future developments. They also hope to meet the members who will participate in the 3rd WH Regional Conference in Cordoba, Argentina from 27 – 31 October 2023.

The Zoom meeting of 1.5 hours, coordinated by Alberto Zambrana, the chairman of the WH Committee, and assisted by the other committee members Ricardo Blengini and Bryan Bell, was very friendly and fruitful. A PowerPoint presentation showed the development and actions of the WH as of today such as the activities and milestones achieved in the organizations and WH sub-regions in the period 2019 - 2023.

Alberto urged the members to participate in the upcoming 30th ISGF World Conference that will take place in Granada, Spain, from 17 to 22 September 2024.
