Traditional bonfire at local Finnish Guild

finland feb22 2021A local Finnish Guild who traditionally had their bonfire on Founders Day/World Thinking Day.

The guild gathered now outdoors for a remembering day. Because of the pandemic it was not possible indoors, so they decided to have a bonfire together with their guild in a wooden hut in the forest of Kasavuori near Espoo.

This simple structure called “lean” is not heated and has no windows but only three walls. It is used for temporary residence during hiking.
Sausages were fried and tasted good and the Guild's annual meeting was done even though not everyone was able to join. It was a nice trip.
