NSGF-LIBYA has adopted the National Scout Initiative for Environmental Sustainability. They developed a special strategy centered around employing members of the association who have experience in scouting and community work.

Through the participation of NSGF-LIBYA members in ISGF conferences, Gatherings and being exposed to international experiences in the environmental field they gained the optimal use of the experiences of members of the NSGF. In this regard they gathered local viewpoints among members of their association. They developed a special strategy that may be considered the first nucleus of many efforts that may come together and achieve sustainable development goals related to the environment and environmental awareness in Libya.

They came up with a vision: A clean, healthy, safe, pollution-free environment that is prosperous for everyone and by everyone.

Their message is: Contributing to achieving sustainable development goals related to preserving the environment efficiently and effectively, and improving the quality of life by following up on the results of the outcomes of community and volunteer work.

Their objectives are: Spreading and raising the level of community awareness of the importance of preserving a safe environment, not wasting natural resources, and rationalizing their consumption.
