Assistant content manager needed for ISGF Website
If you are seeking a volunteer opportunity, you may find the following request intriguing.
Your primary tasks as assistant content manager will include editing incoming articles, adding content to the website, and setting up webpages. In the future, as you become integrated into this role, there may be an opportunity to replace the content manager, Leny Doelman, who has been the content manager of the ISGF website since its inception in 2008.
ISGF is diligently working on migrating their website, www.isgf.org, to the latest version of Joomla 4. This updated version features a new architecture and codebase, supports HTML5 and CSS3, boasts an improved administrative interface, and incorporates a stronger security system. We have refreshed the content of the current website and will soon release the new version. Joomla 3 will no longer be supported after August 2023.
Next to the content manager you will be collaborating with a certified webmaster. In her role as a website designer, she will propose enhancements to make the site more user-friendly. Together with your help, we will take good care of the website keeping the content fresh and relevant, keeping the site user friendly and ensuring it remains accessible with feature and security updates.
