Jane Wardropper Gone Home

The International Ambassadors Guild says farewell to one of its beloved and important members, Guild secretary and a very good friend, our Jane Wardropper, who unexpectedly left us on January 7, 2025.
The announcement of her death sparked a spontaneous wave of condolence messages from members and friends all over the World. Everyone who knew her in UK, in Europe and ISGF in the World, speaks highly of Jane. Over the years of her involvement with ISGF and Europe, she generously offered her knowledge, kindness and wisdom. A true guide, a very good person.
We, the members of the IAG, have one more reason to feel devastated. Jane was a life member and for many years a member of the Board, being our secretary, who served the Guild in the best way. Above all she was a good friend.
She was never tired of proposing and implementing new ideas to improve the Guild procedures, with logic and effectiveness. She was the catalyst in difficult moments when critical decisions should be made.
The last time we met was in Granada last September. I admired the way she handled the sudden loss of her very good friend Katharine Diver, on the second day of the 30th ISGF World Conference. Despite her sadness, she continued her task at the Conference and then was present in the IAG meeting doing her work as usual. She had a very strong sense of duty and was a bright example.
Jane will be missed and that is not a mere expression. It is the truth.
