The 7th South American Sub Region Gathering was held in Cusco, Peru from 23rd-26th of October 2025. 41 Members participated from Argentina (10), Bolivia (5), Chile (3), Peru (15), Uruguay (3), Venezuela (2), Curaçao (1) and Spain (2).
Congratulations to the Dutch Scout and Guide Fellowship committee for organising an excellent Gathering this October. The group accommodation Hygge near Bergeijk was a great base for exploring the area, as we were challenged to learn new skills on the theme of “Doing after Learning”.
The 29th Western Europe sub-regional Gathering took place from 10 – 14 October 2025 in the small village of Bergeijk in the south of the Netherlands and organized by the Dutch Scout and Guide Fellowship. This event was attended by 44 participants. Belgium 5, Denmark 1, Egypt 1, France 1, Germany 7, Ghana 5, Ireland 6, Luxembourg 2, Netherlands 13, United Kingdom 3.
The Portuguese Federation of Adult Scouts and Guides (FEGA), celebrated Fellowship Day with a face-to-face meeting that brought together members of the 3 Associations that comprise it. It took place in the town of Batalha, in the center of the country, and which was attended by the Chairman of the ISGF World Committee, Ana Rodrigues.
Approaching his 112th birthday (which he would have reached on February 13th of next year), Mr. Luis Carrasco-Muñoz y Perez de Isla from Spain, passed away on 29 October 2025.
On October 11th and 12th, the Spanish Asociación de Scouts y Guías Adultos de Madrid (ASGAM) held its start of activity in the historic city of Talavera de la Reina, marking the beginning with adventures, and Scouting and Guiding life.
King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands honoured Marisca Kamperman, who has made a contribution of exceptional value to Scouting in the Netherlands and to the Dutch Scout and Guide Fellowship (DSGF).
Another year has gone by, and here we are once again celebrating Fellowship Day — a moment to pause and reflect on our lives as Scouts and Guides.
It’s a day to celebrate among friends and peers; to live in the present, to breathe, to remember the past, and to think about the future — the future of our lives, our organization, and our world.
Fellowship Day is also a time to acknowledge, even more deeply, what our world is going through, and to reflect on what we, as Adult Scouts and Guides and citizens of the world, can do to make it better.
On 13 October 2025 the Austrian National Scout and Guide Fellowship as well as the International Scout and Guide Fellowship and the International Ambassadors Guild lost with Alfred Partsch (Ferry), one of their most prominent members. For nearly eighty years Ferry followed with all his heart, with an incredible personal engagement the Scouting Trail from the days as a Boy Scout, Rover Scout and leader of a Viennese Scout Group.
It was a weekend filled with Scouting activities and fellowship that the Fraternal Escotista de Portugal held its 75th Anniversary National Activity. The event was hosted by the Moura Branch, with the invaluable participation of the Seixal Branch and guests from Group 28 of the Scouts of Portugal.
This Central America and Caribbean Gathering took place in Guatemala, from August 28-31, 2025, with the theme “Ancient in time, young at heart”. There were 72 participants from 9 countries. Argentina, CB-USA, Chile, Curaçao, Guatemala, Mexico, Netherlands, Trinidad & Tobago and Venezuela.
