Leonie (Loni) Pünter from Switzerland, ex World Committee member, passed away on 8 September 2022 at the age of 92, same day as Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Loni was World Committee member for 6 years and elected during the 14th ISGF World Conference 1981 in Dijon, France. 

Loni also fulfilled her 6-year term of office as president of Ehemalige Pfadi Schweiz (EPS) / Anciens Scouts de Suisse (ASdS) in the nineties. She was still being the auditor in the Zurich section of EPS after a very short while of infirmity of old age. A big part of her family is living in her home village Staefa, a viticultural place at the Lake of Zurich. After her retirement as an accountant when she was 64, she travelled in 28 countries. 

Her funeral ceremony was beautiful. She was renowned in her home village and the Reverend knew her well and had some amusing things to tell about Loni during the service to make the mourning people laugh in fond affection for her. We miss her very much.
