During the Good Service Awards 2018 that took place in South Australia the Silver Emu award was given to Brett Grant, former chairman of ISGF World Committee (2008 – 2011). 

On 1 August 2018 known as 'World Scout Day at Scouts Australia (SA Branch) Leaders and Supporters of Scouting have been awarded with Adult Recognition Awards for outstanding achievement and contributions to the Scouting Movement. These adults were thanked for their dedication and commitment to Scouting on behalf of the many thousands of Scouts, both past and present.
