The Central Branch group “Fraternidad de Antiguos Scouts y Guias del Uruguay” (FASGU) celebrated St George’s Day on April 26 instead of 23 April as on that day there was a national public holiday in Uruguay.

The renewal of the Promise took place in the Athenaeum of Montevideo. This Athenaeum was founded on September 5, 1868 because of the merger of the University of Uruguay and the University society. Nowadays it is used for cultural events.
