An international Camporee spans over a third of scouting history and it marked the 46th camp being hosted in Canada this time.  The annual Camporee attracted 1,600 participants from Scouts Canada and BSA. The Loyalist Area (Canadian) Committee co-hosted with Longhouse Council BSA and they hold the camp on alternating years in the respective countries.

This time Scouts Canada, Loyalist Area, invited Scouts to attend the 2019 Brotherhood Camporee, to be held at Riverside-Cedar Campground, Morrisburg, Ontario on September 27-28-29.

The Camporee is an open, non-structured event, allowing participants to meet and interact with Scouts from another country or region of their own country.  Programming at the Camporee is presented as a "fair" of activities which youth can tour and choose their own adventures throughout the day.  There are many Scouts who spend their time by swapping their badges and others who elect to participate in the many program activities arranged for their enjoyment.  Scouts were invited to come and become a part of a great Camporee, meet new friends, renew old acquaintances and enjoy an even greater event, the world-wide fellowship of Scouting.

Leny Doelman, Central Branch Coordinator, was invited by Linda Bates from Canada (former World Committee member 2005-2011), for the opening ceremony as she travelled through the eastern part of the USA and Canada after the 2nd Western Hemisphere Conference that was recently held in New York.

Seventeen (17) new members from Canada registered on the spot to become member of ISGF via Central Branch.
