The ISGF World Committee is the executive body of ISGF. It is responsible for the implementation of the resolutions of the ISGF World Conference and for acting on its behalf between its meetings. The ISGF World Committee normally meets once a year.

Voting members:
• Six elected members, each from a different country. They are elected by the ISGF World Conference by secret ballot for a six year term. The elected members are serving a maximum of six consecutive years.
Non-voting members:
- The Chairmen of the ISGF Regional Committees as advisors
• A member appointed by the World Board of WAGGGS and a member appointed by the World Committee of WOSM
Ex-officio non-voting members:
• The Secretary-General
• The Treasurer and the Central Branch Coordinator who are appointed by the ISGF World Committee
