Information about the Southern Africa sub-region

The gathering started on the 10 of August with delegates from Zambia and Zimbabwe in attendance. The Chairman of the ISGF World Committee, Mathius Lukwago, was also present as well as Henry Lukwele Africa Region Chairperson.
The 2nd Southern Africa sub-regional Gathering will be held in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The event will be organized by the Central Branch members of Zimbabwe.
All ISGF members from Southern Africa (Malawi, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe) and other sub-regions in Africa and the rest of the world are welcome.
The gathering officially started on Friday 12th June 2015 in Lusaka, Zambia. It attracted 27 participants from four ISGF local Fellowships from Zambia. Henry Lukwele, chairman of the ISGF Africa region, was glad that finally the long awaited ISGF Southern Africa sub-regional gathering was taking place in the ISGF Africa region. He added that it was hoped that this marks the beginning of greater achievements in creating awareness and membership growth of ISGF.
The ISGF African Region comprises several sub regions: Western, Eastern and Southern.
It had its meeting on 10th October 2014, in Sydney Australia prior to the World Conference and was attended by members from Uganda, Zambia and Benin.
They discussed quite a number of issues that included reviewing the progress of the strategic plan for Africa region, roles of each member on the Africa Region Committee, finances for the region, sub-region committees, Africa sub-regional gatherings for 2015 (Eastern Africa, Western Africa, and Southern Africa) and Africa Region Conference in 2016.
The ISGF Southern Africa sub region is proud to announce her first gathering.
