The South American sub region/network (to be founded) will be part of the Western Hemisphere Region and composed by all the NSGFs and Central Branch members in this area.
Four countries were present at the 3rd gathering in South America (INDABA PETEI) held from 8 – 10 October 2011. This event was held in Piriapolis in Uruguay. Members from four countries were present: Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay.
During these three days we all could feel the experience of being member of ISGF. Most of the delegates never have seen each other before but it felt as they were friends for a long time. Three gorgeous days full of happiness, encounters, exchanging experiences and visiting places. We shared each moment, our food, our songs and our brotherhood in scouting. We all had the opportunity to also meet a young Scout group from the city of Maldonado. We shared with them our experience as member of the ISGF.
The next Forum and sub-regional gathering will be held in 2012 in Quilpue close to Viña del Mar in Chile.
