Information about the Eastern Africa sub-region

The 2nd Eastern Africa sub-regional Gathering will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The event will be hosted by the Central Branch group of Tanzania.
All ISGF members from Eastern Africa and other sub-regions in Africa and the rest of the world are welcome.
The 1st ISGF Gathering of Eastern Africa sub-region was hosted by the National Scout and Guide Fellowship Uganda, at JEVINE HOTEL in Kampala, Uganda, from 1st to 5th September 2015 with the theme: “FOSTERING ISGF DEVELOPMENT IN THE REGION”. It had participants from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia giving a total of 35 members altogether. However on the official opening of the gathering, we were joined by Nursing Students from Kampala University giving a total of 71 participants on day one.
Like the first Southern Africa sub-region Gathering also the Eastern Africa sub-region is proud to announce its first Gathering.
The Gathering will be hosted by the Scout and Guide Fellowship Uganda. The main objective is the exchange of information and views among the members of ISGF.
All ISGF members from Africa and the rest of the world are welcome.
At the 9th WAGGGS Africa Regional Conference Justine Nkurunziza was elected member for the new WAGGGS Africa Regional Committee together with five other persons for the next three years.
