"The Fédération des Associations d'Anciens et d'Adultes du Scoutisme français (FAAS), the National Scout and Guide Fellowship of France, were informed some months ago that a group of UK Trefoil Guild (UK TG) were going to come to Paris for a short stay at the beginning of June, their travel being organised by a British travel agency.
Juan Salazar and Mathilde Zubieta accompanied by members of the Local Scout and Guide Fellowship of Panama City
As the Local Scout and Guide Fellowship (LSGF) told me "this was the first time we have de opportunity of having Fellowship visitors from another country".
The Panamanian Guild welcomed us in a really perfect Scout Spirit. They showed us how true the meaning of the word, "FELLOWSHIP" is.
From the 19th till the 22nd of May we, Juan Salazar and Matilde Zubieta, both members of the Chilean National Scout and Guide Fellowship (NSGF) visited Panama not for an official trip but just as Scout fellows we are. On our trip we decided to visit our fellows Adult Scouts from Panama. I made contact with Marquelda Arauz, International Secretary for Panama NSGF.
Dear members of St. George's Guild of Denmark,
On behalf of the World Committee and World Bureau we congratulate you most happily with your 75th anniversary. We mark this important milestone in ISGF history and you hold the distinction of having the oldest guilds in the history of the International Scout and Guide Fellowship (ISGF).
The Kingston (Ontario, Canada) Scout Museum will be officially opened on Sunday, February 17th with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and a Dedication at 2 PM.
The museum, small by all standards, is a creation supported and partially financed by the 35th Canadian B-P Guild (Limestone). The transformation from an unused back room previously used as a Scout Supply Shop, has taken almost six months.
SGAB-OSOGB celebrated the final part of 100 years of scouting by hosting a Christmas lunch on 8th December. 100 members and guests from the other two LSGF : FEGASEG and VOSOG were in attendance, in friendship and in songs.
Ten BP Scout Guild members had the opportunity to join the Scouts in the Asia Pacific Region in their Scouting Sunrise programme organized by the Sabah Scout Association. The event was to mark the 100 years of the Scouting on the 1st August 2007.
If you enjoy travelling and camping and intend to visit Denmark - and especially Jutland, why not place your tent or camper on the Rodbjerggaard area, the Danish NSGF camp-site in a wonderful nature close to Kolding - and the bridge to Funen.
I can't promise you a lot of neighbours on the site. But you are most welcome.
