Alan Beavis, former chairman of ISGF World Committee (1985 – 1987) has been honoured lately as an Officer of the British Empire (OBE) for services to Scouting, by Queen Elizabeth II of the UK.
For the 36th time both committees of National Scout and Guide Fellowships, VOSOG, the Dutch speaking part of Belgium and Plus-Scouts the Netherlands, had a Twinning meeting on May 9, 2010.
The Queen of the Netherlands honoured Bianca Prins-Els, who made a valuable contribution to our youth and adults via music lessons in Curacao. Bianca was one of the members who helped with the foundation of the National Scout and Guide Fellowship - "Copernicia" and was elected the first National President of this organization - 25 years ago. Bianca received the honour as member of the order of Orange-Nassau from the Governor of the Netherlands Antilles".
The Queen of the Netherlands honoured Leny Doelman, who has made a contribution of exceptional value to Scouting the Netherlands and ISGF. Leny received the Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau from the Mayor of her city on April 29, 2010.
This royal honour expresses appreciation of a person’s merits and achievements in the service of the community.

The Golden Times 2010, a special celebration for the Golden Jubilee (1959-2009) of the Indian Scout and Guide Fellowship, is hosted by the local Greater Mumbai District Scout and Guide Fellowship.
The French Republic decided to honour Martine Levy for all what she did for Scouting and Guiding and lately as chairman of the ISGF World Committee 2005-2008 and to constitute her as “Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Mérite'’(National Order of Merit) on Saturday January 30th, 2010.
