On 27th April 2012 Mrs. Margaritha (Marguin) Salas-Valencia received the civilian order of merit as member of the order of Orange-Nassau from the Governor of Curaçao, in name of the Queen of the Netherlands.
Ghana National Scout and Guide Fellowship organized a program for the Muslim community at a Mosque in Kwabre district in the Ashanti region on April 28, 2012. The program was called “Health & Peace Talk Education”.

France mourns a great man, Raymond Aubrac, who, had been one of the major members of Resistance during the Nazi occupation of France during WWII with his wife Lucie (who saved him from prison and death). Éclaireuses Éclaireurs de France (EEDF) and Anciens Éclaireuses Éclaireurs de France (AAEE, member of the French ISGF) are deeply affected by his death.
This year the National Guiding Association in Greece (SEO) celebrates its 80th anniversary. Guiding in Greece started in 1932 and became a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) in 1933.
These last weeks horrible murders were perpetrated by a man: first soldiers from Muslim or Caribbean origin, then on Monday 19 March, a teacher and three children in a Jewish school in Toulouse. These murders raised a very high emotion within the whole French population. The five associations of Scoutisme Français did take part, with their unity and solidarity, remembering their values of fraternity, to the silent demonstrations in Toulouse and in Paris on Sunday 25 March.
The National Scout and Guide Fellowship (FOFSAG Malaysia) met Brett D. Grant, the former Chairman of ISGF World Committee, on his way back to Australia after the 26th ISGF World Conference.
Our Fellowship Day of the 25th October will come soon; the Local Scout and Guide Fellowship of the Paris region celebrated it a bit earlier.

The “Autum gathering” is a yearly event since 1946 and takes place at the end of August for leaders of the Flemish Scouts in Belgium.
