On May 2, 2016, in Genoa there was a big party. Representatives from all Guides and Scouts organizations of Italy, both young and adults, celebrated the centenary of the Italian Catholic Scouting.
In fact, exactly one hundred years earlier, in 1916, just in the same place, in the courtyard of the “Palace of the Prince”, in Genoa, there have been the first promises of the Italian Catholic Boys Scouts. Guides and Scouts of all ages, celebrated by renewing the Scout Promise, for a Service commitment also for future times.
MASCI, the movement of adult scouts and guides of Italy, was represented by Sonia Mondin, the national president.
