Guiding Centenary
Dear members of ISGF, dear friends from all over the world,
Celebrating the last year of the Guiding Centenary, I would like all of us to join WAGGGS and SHARE the starting of a new era of changing lives.
Millions of girls changed their lives, playing the game B-P left us, GUIDING, so we must continue to cherish and stimulate this movement, so many more Girls and Women can profit from it. Let’s share the story of GUIDING. Many, many things happen every day, 100 and 100 small activities that can help to change the world and are not known. During this week visit the link to WAGGGS website and see the fabulous work done by their members, from Brownies to Leaders.
Make a commitment towards the campaign “Stop the Violence towards Girls and Women”, and you are protecting our society and our future.
During those next two weeks SHARE with the world photos with information or messages supporting this important date for GUIDING – 10th April 2012. Being a Guide since I was 11 years old, I would only wish that many more girls and young women join Guiding and live their Adult live in accordance to the principles and have learned during the youth. “Once a Guide, always a Guide”, and as the Portuguese Guides say “smile, you are near a GUIDE.” I know it’s very short notice, but BE PREPARED is out motto, so let’s fill our website of beautiful pictures and messages.
