event_in_SloveniaOne of the headlines in ISGF Action Plan 2008-2011 was “be part of the family”.

Families are communicating and inviting the members to events, camps, meetings, gatherings etc. Therefore we will encourage you to announce your event on ISGF website. However, we only publish events that are open to all our members worldwide.

What we need is the name of your event, where it will be held, who is the organizer with a possible link to your website or contact address. We have the right not to include posting if we do not think it is relevant to our members.

World Conference 2008 Recommendation nr. 4 Print E-mail
World Committee

looking_for_expertsRecommendation nr 4. That the World Committee, in the future way of work, seeks the practical help and sponsorship of the member organisations in fostering its aims.

Rationale: As has been pointed out, ISGF is more than the World Committee but better use could be made of Member Organisations, co-opting their help in projects, in development, in translations, in facilitating and a host of other activities.

The ISGF World Committee (WCom) has asked several times for help especially for the Communication & PR Team. We have been so lucky to have volunteers as webmaster, contentmanager, graphic designers and more members that are simply ready to support the web-team.

The text and the photos of the new ISGF leaflet have been adjusted to the present situation in ISGF. It is focusing on what benefits there are of being a member of ISGF.

And for years also ISGF is using it to network our members and I believe also friends of Adult Scouting and Guiding. Currently, in August 2010, we have 2.359 members.

You are warmly invited to join us. Register on Facebook http://www.facebook.com, sign in, type »ISGF« in Search field, join the conversations and share your ideas, photos, videos, useful links.
