News from Central Branch
As per 31 May, 2010 we have 740 members in 33 countries.
The Scouts y Guías Adultos de Argentina (SGAA) celebrated on April 4th their 7th year of being affiliated to ISGF via Central Branch.
Agnes BP Trefoil Guild and Amitié Canadienne Francophone, both Central Branch groups have recently started negotiations on request of World Committee with the Canadian Fellowship of B-P Guilds to come up with a proposal as only one NSGF per country can be recognised. Solutions have been given to form a federation or a similar link as described in the ISGF Constitution.
The local guild El Ñacuritú, invited volunteers of Red Cross of Uruguay and told them who they are and what they are doing in order to collaborate with them in time of disasters
The Association des Anciens Scouts et Guides d’Haiti (CASEGHA) has been pretty much involved in the help for Haiti. See this link
Reseau National des Anciens Scouts et Guides Adultes du Burkina Faso (RENASAB) has fulfilled all criteria to become a National Scout and Guide Fellowship. They will be officially announced NSGF at the next World Conference in 2011. The 15 Central Branch members will merge into this group.
Seven members from B-P Guild of Maldives joined Central Branch and they promised to have more than 50 members within five months from now.
