Better knowledge refreshed participants at the 4th Workshop Europe Region
Fourteen members from 11 different European countries attended the workshop in Jambville, France, about 50 kilometers northwest from Paris. The venue (chateau) dates back from the 17-18th centuries and has been the National Training Centre of Scouts and Guides of France since 1952 and is surrounded by a 50 ha park.
The Board of FAAS, the French Fellowship, host this workshop on behalf of the Europe Committee from 4 to 8 June 2012 in Paris, France. The topic of this workshop is to discuss and share an important topic: “How to improve the relationship between our National Fellowships and the co-operation with the other European Sub-Regions”.
The workshop for National Presidents, International Secretaries and their delegates was held from 14 – 18 April 2010 in Lübbenau, a town about 82 km southeast of Berlin, Germany.
The main theme for the workshop was “The Skills for the Future”. The workshop gave us a great opportunity to meet and interact with intelligent people on a topic that everyone was interested in (including members of ISGF World Committee). Some countries had brought photos, booklets and folders to introduce their National Scout and Guide Fellowship. The workshop including such material was effective to give new perspectives and ideas and approaches to work on, back home.
The Sub Region Central Europe are hosting a third European Workshop to be held in Germany 14 –18th April 2010
In addition to the National President and International Secretary or their deputies each country may send two other members to the workshop. Everyone who attends the workshop must be responsible for their own accommodation costs and travel to the venue.
14-17 November 2008
