About 200 participants registered at the 8th Arab Regional Conference of the Arab Pioneers of Scouts and Girl Guides that took place in Kuwait from 28 February till 7 March 2016. It demonstrated the scout commitment in the Arab Region which should be praised.
Members from ten (10) National Scout and Guide Fellowships such as: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia participated. Also present were representatives from United Arab Emirates and Qatar who are working towards ISGF membership. Moreover the conference was attended by representatives of International and Regional Scout and Guide organisations.
The conference was held under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait.
After speeches of prominent speakers several workshops took place and meetings with the delegates. There were presentations, reports, discussions, lectures on the theme of social peace, work program, budget and tours.
Several decisions and recommendations were taken and three members of the Regional Team were replaced.

Next Conference will be held in 2019 in Egypt.
