World Cleanup Day in 2019 will be on 21 September and will unite more than 150 countries across the world for a cleaner planet. Last year, the day united 18 million people across 157 countries and territories for the biggest waste collection day in human history.
WAGGGS invites ISGF members (regardless of gender) to participate in a special week in Sangam, India, in one of their 5 World centers. You will celebrate World Thinking Day & Founder’s Day with many other Scouts and Guides from other parts of the world. Sangam, India welcomes ISGF members in their center from 21 – 25 February 2019.
Next year the legendary event will be organized again by the National Scout and Guild Fellowship of Austria. They organized this event with a lot of success since 1967. Since 2014, the organization has been taken over by the Tourist Office of Grossarl but will now be back where it belongs in the hands of the Austrian Fellowship.
Fixed on the last week of June, the Grossarl get together takes place from 24 June till 1 July 2017. Adult Scouts and Guides are invited to have a nice time together and organizing themselves accompanied by the tourist office of Grossarl.
A Golden Jubilee Reunion for the participants of World Scout Jamboree 1967 will be held in August 2017. The organizers, an international group of participants to the WSJ 1967 have asked ISGF to advertise this event.
The 3rd Fellowship Gathering in Tunisia was organized as planned from 14 to 21 May 2015 in Tunis, Bizerte and Tabarka, with the participation of 85 adult scouts and guides from various regions of Tunisia (33), as well as from other countries such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco and Australia attended and the participation of Mida Rodrigues, Chair of the ISGF World Committee.
The Tunisia Scout and Guide Fellowship invites all ISGF members to its 3rd Gathering which will be held from 14 – 21 May 2015.
This time Tunis and Tabarka in the northwest are the main stops while visits to nearby places and a campfire are also in the program.
A hot Southerly wind from the Sahara Desert resulted in temperatures between 30 and 39 degrees C, when 132 participants from 11 countries met in Grossarl at the 45th and last Forum, organized by Guild members of NSGF Austria, from 15 to 22 June, 2013. This year the program was as varied as ever with the theme “Maintain your friendship”. The welcome ceremony was an impressive exhibition of the previous 45 years and brought back sweet memories. All the photo books and many of the “guest books” that we signed on our hikes were to be seen as well as all the various tokens through the years were arranged. In the evening the midsummer solstice was celebrated together with folkloristic associations of Grossarl.
