The July 2022 meeting of the Guild branch of UK that meets monthly online were engaged by a presentation that was originally intended for a Workshop on the Environment to be held in Portugal in May 2022. This Workshop had been cancelled due to Covid-19 by one of the presenters.
On last June 22nd, Fraternidad de Antiguos Scouts y Guias de Uruguay (FASGU), donated a number of warm clothes and foods to a Migrants House’s elders, who are in urgent need of some warm protection during this exceptionally cold winter in Uruguay.
For the last few months the Fellowship members of PAVEURS Suriname have been collecting used and new children’s books to donate to primary schools in less fortunate neighborhoods in their city of Paramaribo, Suriname.
The 29th ISGF virtual World Conference took place in Brussels, Belgium on 26 and 27 February 2022.

On 22 May 2022 the Western Hemisphere Region organized an online toast meeting. Four (4) members from each new NSGF in this region were invited to a short meeting.
With a 2-year delay (due to the Corona pandemic), the “Grænsetræf / Grenztreff” now took place from 6 to 8 May 2022.
The border between Denmark and Germany, once seen as a separation and demarcation, is now a sign of cooperation between two minorities - the Danish south of the border and the Germans north of the border. These characteristics were also the theme of the meeting.
The ISGF Twinning Coordinator received just recently a request from three ladies of respectively Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic to supply them with a Twinning certificate. They have formed two groups ALJAZE and TORAVE. They all started Twinning in 2022.

The tenth National Meeting of Adult Scouts and Guides in Tunisia, originally scheduled for March 2020, was postponed due to the global pandemic. The meeting was finally successfully organised from 18-20 March 2022 in a hotel in Sousse.
Chain of Good Turns
A man was riding his bicycle when he saw an old lady, stranded on the road side. He realized that she needed help, he stopped near where the lady was. The lady was worried, as nobody had stopped for hours while she spent on the roadside. The man could see how frightened she was and he tried to calm her: I‘m here to help you, don‘t worry. The tire was flat and the man had to crawl under the car to help and change the tire. While fixing the tire he got dirty and hurt himself in the process. When the job was done, the lady asked how much she owed him for his help. The man smiled. He said: If you really want to pay me back, the next time you see someone who needs help, give that person the needed assistance. As you do it think of me“. The woman could not believe that someone riding a bicycle can help without expecting payment.
