"Scout Nights: Let us join our hands in friendhip"

Idea for "Scout Nights":

Every three years Slovenian young scouts and guides (ZSKSS) organise very famous Song Festival. In order to stimulate "production" of new scout songs. This year 16 new songs were presented and we (adult scouts) participated in it with the song "Scout Nights".

Tone Sečnik, the author and singer

Tone Sečnik (we call him a poet) wrote nice lyric and his son Janez composed the melody. We made also a band of thirteen scouts (from cubs, scouts, rovers and adults). With electric guitars, bass guitar, drums, sintesizer and choir.

Scout band: From cubs to adult scouts

The song was very well accepted in the public of 500 hundred scouts and guides. Our song was awarded for best lyric. We are very proud of it and we believe that it will be a hit.

We think that participation on such events is perfect promotion of adult scouting. I am looking for person to translate the song in English. It has the potential to be an international hit :-).
